　　連系動詞

　　概念

　　系動詞亦稱連系動詞，它本身有詞義，但不能單獨作謂語，后邊必須跟表語，構成系表就夠來說明主語的狀況、性質、特征等情況。有些系動詞又是實義動詞，作實義動詞時，可單獨作謂語。

　　He fell ill yesterday. 他昨天病了。(fell是系動詞，后跟表語，說明主語情況。)

　　He fell off the ladder. 他從梯子上摔了下來。(fell是實義動詞，單獨作謂語。)

　　分類

　?、?狀態(tài)系動詞

　　用來表示主語狀態(tài)，只有be一詞。

　　He is a teacher. 他是一名教師。(is與表語一起說明主語的身份)

　?、?持續(xù)系動詞

　　用來表示主語繼續(xù)或保持一種狀況或態(tài)度，主要有keep, remain, stay, lie, stand等。

　　He never stays angry for long. 他生氣時間從來不會長。

　?、?感官系動詞

　　感官系動詞主要有l(wèi)ook, feel, smell, sound, taste. 如：

　　This kind of cloth feels very soft. 這種布摸起來非常軟。

　　This flower smells very sweet. 這朵花聞起來很香。

　　He looks tired. 他看起來很累。

　　感官動詞feel, look, smell, sound ,taste的用法精講

　　這幾個系動詞的意思分別是“摸起來”，“看起來”，“聞起來”，“聽起來”和“嘗起來”，使用時注意以下幾點：

　　a.通常以被感覺的東西作主語，雖有被動意味，但不用被動語態(tài)。

　　The material feels nice. 這料子摸起來不錯。

　　b.后面均可結介詞like.

　　This looks/tastes/smells/feels like an orange. 這東西看起來/嘗起來/聞起來/摸起來像橘子。

　　另外，taste和smell后還可以接介詞of,表示“有......的味道”。

　　It tastes (smells) of fish.它有魚的味道。

　　c.除look外，均不用于進行時(即使是look用于進行時也不多見)。

　　You look (are looking) tired this evening. 你今晚看起來很累。

　?、?變化系動詞

　　這些系動詞表示主語變成什么樣，主要有become, grow, turn, fall, get, go等。如：

　　He became mad after that. 自那之后，他瘋了。

　　She grew rich within a short time.沒多長時間她就變富了。
